Indian government needs to work on these things.......

Big things many people feel the Indian government is getting wrong 👇

1. Too much politics, not enough problem-solving A lot of energy goes into elections, speeches, slogans, and blame games. Real issues like jobs, education quality, pollution, and local infrastructure often move slower than the headlines.

2. Unemployment vs “employment claims” India has a young population advantage, but:

Not enough quality jobs

Too many people stuck in low-pay, informal work

Announcements look good, but on the ground, many students still struggle to find stable careers.

3. Education: focus on marks, not skills

Schools push rote learning

Skill training, critical thinking, and creativity lag behind

This is a problem when competing globally in tech, research, and innovation.

4. Health spending is still weak Public hospitals are overcrowded, underfunded, and understaffed in many states. COVID exposed this, but long-term fixes are slow.

5. Centralisation of power More decisions are taken at the centre:

States sometimes get less flexibility

Local problems don’t always get local solutions

India is diverse — one-size policies don’t always work.

6. Freebies without long-term planning Free schemes help in the short term, but:

They strain finances

They don’t always build self-reliance

People want opportunities more than handouts.

7. Social division Religious, regional, and online polarization has increased. Even if the government doesn’t create all of it, critics say it benefits politically from division instead of calming it.

8. Environment takes a backseat Development is important, but:

Pollution

Water shortages

Climate risks

These are future disasters being postponed, not solved.
